PRE POCONO!
Now that Matt Borland is in charge. Will that equate to better track performances?
I heard talk on PRN that S/H has come to that cross road of doubt about using another competitors engines/chassis just as we have been discussing on here. How weird is that? Only problem is that S/H doesn't have those "deep pockets" and can not afford to start building their own stuff at this time. It's all a very nice thought but will not happen anytime soon!
I wish I could live in a bubble of goodness about my favorite driver and his team but I just can't. Way to many years invested to set back and watch Newman look so ridiculous on race day......sorry! I do feel things will get better with all the "baby steps" being taken at S/H.
Pocono...since 2009 Ryan Newman has finished an average of 11.25/0-wins/1-top 10 out of 4 races. I know, not very stellar numbers.
Not worried at all about his fine. That's done and over and pocket change to Newman.
Would love to see a good race with Newman at least a top 10 and NOT dropping off into the abyss of race cars Sunday.
GOOD LUCK MATT BORLAND AND TEAM #39!
