This is a very authentic jersey. it is made with football pads in mind. That said, if you normally wear a XL...get a Large... unless you like the extra room and length. Very happy with this Jersey.. although its a little longer than I would like, it reminds me of my football jerseys in high school... they never fit exactly right until all the pads were in.. but boy were they comfortable... 5 stars all around...
