You are right smoke_14 but I am Happy for the points gain and very happy he didn't end up 31st 2 laps down. That was my point. I surely hope that the 14 team can figure things out before Darlington.

what i think is to make the right deceitions about pitting ,what adjustments and when to pit ,it all about timing .the crew leader better communication with tony. ,

Tony did mention earlier in the week that the short track program for the #14 is way off. I'm hoping that is the case for tonight. He was pretty mad during and after the race, even with a 9th place finish. Richmond was one of Smoke's best tracks, but he has been junk there really since forming SHR. It seems it is just with the short tracks, but nothing else.

Tony looked like he was exhausted....He was fighting that car thru the whole race.

That's a classic Tony Stewart race. Getting up on the wheel and making up the difference for a bad car. I feel like, on the larger tracks, they are plenty competitive (I've got him pegged for a Coca-Cola 600 win) but there are three of these short flat tracks in the Chase so they have got to get it turned around.
