Busch scores 36th NASCAR Cup Series pole for SHR in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway (27.360 seconds at 197.368 mph). It is Busch’s 23rd career Cup Series pole and his third at Texas. And with Busch’s teammates Harvick and Bowyer qualifying second and third, respectively, it marks the first time that SHR has swept the top-three starting spots in qualifying for a Cup Series event.
