Harvick and Busch officially secure their respective spots in the NASCAR Playoffs following the cutoff race at Richmond International Raceway. It is Harvick’s eighth consecutive playoff appearance and his 11th since the inception of the playoffs in 2004. It is Busch’s fifth straight playoff appearance and 11th overall.
