POST TALLADEGA!

Well, I still don't care for this track. You have to have a team mates help. Newman only has ONE team-mate and he was not even in the same zip code all race? He almost wrecked twice but with the skill we all have known since 2002....he saved his car.

Denny and Ryan were hooked up most of the race. But, by the end of the race both cars looked like they had been through a "demolition derby!" Both of them got separated at the end of the race and Newman was hung out to dry as usual!

Newman finishes 25TH but at least it was not a DNF!

Was good to see Ohio's very own Dave Blaney "The Buckeye Bullet" racing well.

Newman will have to deal with this again in October.....great!

His luck is changing for the better at restrictor plate tracks. As you said - no DNF today. He'll do even better in the fall race.

Ryan did lead for a while, that was good. Nice saves, no flips, or major isssues. I'll take it.

Yeah Buddy, Ryan earnd his money today. Plus he saved a $200,000 car for SHR!!! Great job Ryan!!

Agree with you all. I would have liked to see Ryan win but finishing at Dega is a big improvement. I think Ryan's going to gain a lot of fans this year. I think it's his year.

No doubt Ryan is off to a great start this year. Here's hoping the # 39 team can keep it up for the rest of the season!!

Ryan did finish the fall Dega race, he finished at Daytona earlier this season & has now finished at Dega again. Granted all the finishes were outside the top 20 but they were finishes & not dnf's. So things are improving if you look at it that way. Definitely better than '09 were he only finished one RP race & he still ended up with a wrecked car in that race. GOOOO RYAN!!!!!

Being optimistic, I'm expecting Ryan to improve even more when they go back to Daytona & Dega in the summer/fall. But you're right, better than his wrecks & DNF's, for sure!!
