Did you notice the tall spoiler with the top half made of a clear material? I guess that was one of the changes NASCAR wanted to test.

The clear spoiler makes so much sense.... :idea: Why can't they make it clear all the way.....it would help especially during restrictor plate races when they run so close together :idea: .... Each one of the SHR cars were running different setups, to see which worked better .....another great idea :!:

don't know what the clear material is made from but you see it a lot in the Late model type series. I always assumed Nascar was to worried what all these CC's who are smarter than the Nascar officials would be able to manipulate whatever material without Nascar being able to figure out how to regulate it. I always wondered why they didn't go to a clear Spoiler way back when they 1st started making them bigger. Image

I know we have used plexiglass in lower series. Just assume nascar would use some super expensive something or other I cant pronounce on their cars :mrgreen:

The clear part was just an extension, they were testing the height. If they decide to go with that spoiler they would probably be solid in color or unpainted, but not clear. I wonder what the rulebook says about a clear spoiler on race weekends, though. I guess if it were legal some team would have done it already.
