POST MARTINSVILLE KIND OF UGLY!

Well ,that old saying "Nothing good lasts forever" unless your Jimmie Johnson has come to pass today. Ryan's old bad luck showed up to ruin his possible top 5 day.

His 20TH place finish has dropped him to 6TH in points.

Seems the "horse shoe" has re-located to Kevin Harvick so far this year!

Oh well, my REDS are 3-0 so far!

Man HH, it was not a good race day no doubt about it!

Way Off Topic HH:I realize nothing good ever lasts forever in racing or in life in general. Look at our country and where it's going....need I say more! I guess I should not have said in my signature,"Yes, I listen to Michael Savage" because not many respond to my posts now! I don't care, he speaks the truth old school style. Everything he has said the last 10 years has come to pass so his information is 100% honest and spot on!

Might as well forget Martinsville. That was a throw away race for Newman!

No doubt it shows just how quick you can fall in the current points format. He wasn't far from taking the #1 seat had he had a great finish at Martinsville, but now sits 6th and only 16 points out of 1st. Way early, I know, to be concerned about points, but this is the best start to a racing year Ryan has had since 2002. I hope they get the train back on the track at Texas.

I too was wanting to see Team #39 in first.

I was waiting for the "bottom to drop out" on Team #39 and sure enough they didn't disappoint. Not trying to be Chevy39Fan downer. It's to be expected being a RN fan since 2002!

Like you said L39, just hope this isn't the start of something. It is early as we all know.

Newman has won at Texas many years ago but that was then and this is now!
