Good run in the 600 spolied by wreck - too bad

Shame about her getting caught up in that wreck last night. She was being patient and had moved up a ton - seemed her car was right where she wanted it - good work by her team. Was probably headed to at least a top 15 finish before getting pinched. All in all though, alot of positives that don't reflect where she finished - probably her best perfromance on a cookie cutter so far this year.. The whole S-H team can hopefully build on last night as the head to Miles' place this weekend.

she was doing pretty well. She was floating between 20th to 22nd one lap down. Fighting for a Lucky dog spot when they wrecked. A top 20 would have been good for her.

Yea, I was hoping she'd end up finishing better since she seemed to be running pretty good.
My wife and I went to the race and I was listening to her on the scanner for a while.

Kinda funny, sitting on pit road right before the re-start after the 15 minute red flag she said to her spotter: "I wonder if they make a steering wheel that's FLAT on the top? Then maybe I could see over it." :P
I thought that was pretty funny.

Thanks for sharing that & hope you & the Mrs had a BLAST ! !

Maybe we ought to get her a few NASCAR Rule Books to sit on ? ?

Maybe I should give her my school district budget book and policy manual to sit on, they are both 8 inches a piece...that would give her a 16 inch boost.

We did have a great time at the race! And, luckily, we didn't even get hit with any falling cable.

Actually, Brad claimed responsibility for the wreck.
Pushing 3 wide in Charlotte..bad idea.

Brad did take the responsibility, but it was Stenhouse that pushed danica up. the 17 actually caused the wreck.

Re: Good run in the 600 spolied by wreck - too bad

I thought that Ricky may have moved up, but there really was not contact to speak of on the replays. Did he possibly take the air off her? Maybe, but I think that's what Brad thought he did, thus causing the wreck.
It was probably just a combination and culmination of events that occurred rather rapidly.

I don't think (not sure) he hit her, but if they didn't it is because she moved up to not get hit.
