March 13 is . . . . Jewel Day

We went shopping after dinner tonight. But I didn't see anything that grabbed my attention in the jewlery dept ($$$) so we went back home.

H, NOPE !!! Our whole family has always lived in the north, except for my sister...the wimp. Wears a winter coat when it reaches 50*. We are wearing no jacket at that temp. We wear sweatshirts at 35*. We wear winter jackets when it hits 15*. We bundle up like polar bears when it reaches -15*. At -25* we don't go outside and all these temps applied to my grandparents as they would tease us for overdressing. Don't remember getting that sick as kid, but once I got out on my own and started dressing the way I wanted to...I was sick more often than not. Then I started dressing the way I did as a kid with not much for outerwear and I hardly ever got sick again. Go Figure.

Oh, boy. My brother, sister-in-law & family are onboard the Carnival Dream, stuck in St Maarten. They are waiting to hear about a flight back to Orlando. At least they are in port and not stuck out at sea.

March 15 is . . . . Buzzard's Day and Everything You Think Is Wrong Day

Feel better, a. Hope your Friday improves.

Nobody is happier than I am that Friday is over. Now if I just could build one mega huge fence around the property so I don't have to deal with that neighbor. They spent a good majority of the afternoon and evening smearing me on Facebook and sending me private messages using all kinds of profanity. I did eventually unfriend them, then put a block on them, then added an enhanced feature that they would have to pay a fee to send me a message. It all started when I offered to help them with something at the beginning of the week. Then when I showed up this morning they left with the help of somebody else. I had cancelled all my plans for the day to help them. Won't be offering to help them again. You got to love it, police show up at my place, I did not call them, and the neighbors show up in my yard to cause problems. I kept my cool. These people have no class. They don't live right next door, they live a few doors down...thank goodness.

Neighbors - gotta love 'em... well, come to think of it, no you don't.

Sorry for your trouble, Beav. Hope things quiet down.

I know the bad neighbor feeling, have had to deal with it for the last 24 yrs. Not just one, it's all around us back yard ones included. If it's not the people, it's their stupid dogs barking 2-4 hrs sraight at night when trying to sleep.
