FYI: While I was c&p to make my picks, there was a new name added to the list. I went back and redid my picks, but it is something we might want to watch out for, i.e. someone else posting at the same time you are.

Thanks Annalee for doing the points this week, the dreaded mother in law left this afternoon, I didn't have any time last night or this morning to do points.

Whew...took me long enough to get here but I made it. Thanks to Beav. Thank you kind sir. (you are a sir? aren't you? never can tell these days) I've read the past 4 pages and seems like a nice place to do some pickin. Thanks to all the members for having me. Got a few questions though.
I see two people (KIM & NASCAR NANA) have picked for this week already, is that right? And I just need to copy/paste the entire list, or just my name when I make my picks? Then repost it here? And if I do not pick for any particular week, I go to the dreaded dungeon? Don't want that. I hear it's cold and damp down there. Nothing happens though in the dungeon? Right? (depends on who's down there with you...tee hee) Another thing, I agree with whoever said that it is way too early in the season to worry about the leader yet. I'm not worried and I'm 2 weeks behind everybody else.
In the Administrators contest I did pick 48 for 1st at Daytona and had 11 for 3rd in Phoenix. But they haven't given me any points for 11 yet. Beav told me that would happen. I like to make my picks after the field is set. So I'll settle in and hope to have a correct pick before Homestead. Sure would like that trophy. More questions to come, I'm sure.

Yes, I am a guy...Mrs B calls me her hubby and lil'beaver calls me her daddy. I think that just about who is what gender in my family.

Knowing my husband the way I do, I was waiting for the wise crack ... and when there was not one, I had to take his temperature. I think last nights school board meeting might have been hard on him.

Jellikit and Thorman......as to the dungeon, Beav was in charge of that last year! I'll let him explain......

It used to be a basement in the points club where we would banish you to if you did not make your picks in time. I had all kinds of torture devices. Whips, chains, shock therapy (my favorite, we had one member who enjoyed this one), hand cuffs, and so on. Let your imagination run wild...I did. No toilets, no food. We did let you up to make your picks and watch the race on Sunday...never could figure out why people would sit next to some of these people on race day...hhmmm

This season, truthfully, I just don't have the time or the ambition. I am now on 8 committees for the school board and 2 for the PTA. So I am quite busy. There are days where I do not know if I am coming or going.

You take care of business Beav. And HI Mrs. B. Now I can see a connection. As for the dungeon...I don't think I'll be visiting anytime soon. Plan on pickin every week and on time. Now all I need do is figure out who to pick. I do have a dark horse that I will not reveal until week 6 or so. His circumstances have changed and might be a contender some day. We'll see.

Kim.....you said you can't see the race on TV. Have you tried Racebuddy on NASCAR.com? It is free, just log on to the website and they will show you how to log in....it is almost as good as the TV. You select a driver and ride with him in the car, listening to their scanner. I think you might like it......that and the radio. You have the best of both worlds. Hope you don't loose power, that is not fun, from the weather report.....it looks like this is a real snow maker. Stay warm.

Racebuddy, if it's like last year, is only good when the race isn't on Fox. Then I use it, but until then I watch the race in my mind using the visuals the gang gives me in the chat room.
