It managed to get to 41* yesterday. And it melted a lot of the snow we had. Got down to 24 last night and it is already 35* now that the sun's popped up.

Filed taxes yesterday and are getting back more than last year...go figure...better than paying in, certainly remember those days.

Got up this morning to heat wave of 12*

Bright & sunny here today... going to a high of 80°

I got sweaty on my morning walk in my shorts & t-shirt.

Heading back down to Holly Springs ,NC this morning and have to get a earlier start 'cuz some of the guys are s'pose to be there by 7:30. And I have the only key.

It's another beautiful day in Florida... sunny with a forecasted high of 82­°.

Well, it is now snowing and we are supposed to get about an inch by sunset. Then we are supposed to get another 3 or 4 inches by midnight as to which it is supposed to switch over to freezing rain leaving a layer of ice on the trees and wires.

This was not supposed to be here until tomorrow...it arrived 18 hours early.

Like I said...since when can the weathermen predict the weather. We did not get the freezing rain they predicted so all we got was three inches of white fluffy snow.

It is now 16* and sunny. It supposed to reach 32*, time will tell. It would be nice to see if the ice build up from last nights drive in the stuff melts off the truck. I have already cleared off the snow so that all that is left is the ice. I have already cleared the driveway, sidewalks, and porches.

Hay Beave, It's 81* at this hour High for tomorrow 86* & windy. I just might have to start-up the turbine's Thursday mornin, cause a Cold-front is comin in. High for Thursday>>> 65*

We got to low 60's today
Tomorrow windy & high of 62 But temps are to fall in the afternoon down to mid to low 40's. Next (Thurs) day is snow showers high 30
Friday mostly sunny high 20
Saturday snow showers high of 32

Why can't the ground hog predict the winter / spring here, it wouldn't see his shadow here Saturday

NEWS FLASH FOR THOSE IN FLORIDA:

Cold front moving in from the North East and Canada. An arctic blast is coming down over Mount Washington in NH to give everybody a taste of winter they so richly deserve by the end of week.

It got to 73* and sunny yesterday. It's 62* now and going to the mid to upper 70's again today. BUT, then it cools back down
with hi's only in the upper 40's to low 50's.

Well, I have been up most of the night working on my website and working on routine maintenance of another and I just happen to glance over at the thermometer on the desk...thinking there was something wrong with the thing I went to the Shawnee Peak base location and they had a very similar reading ... it is a whopping 54* at 3:45am

The high for the day is supposed to be 55*...jeepers it is all down hill from here as the low is supposed to be 19* and we have high wind warnings up for later in the day. They also have Central Maine Power on standby and have for most of the night.

Even Mount Washington is not bad for this time of year at 42*, but winds are blowing at 56 mph.

I just would like to thank my friends in the south for sharing their warmth. It has helped melt a lot of the ice from yesterday's icestorm. Much appreciated.

49* with a hi of 46*. Now if that is't a counterdiction.(?) Winds are still gusting to 22 mph, but s'pose to subside after the main front goes thru.
