We have had about 8 inches of the white stuff so far with a mix of freezing rain. It is now 21*...kids are out of school today because of this mess, but with the forecast looking the way it is something tells me this may not be last day off this week due to weather.

And here I always accuse my husband of not listening to me when he told me that he went to shovel last night and removed about 6 or 7 inches of snow.

So when I went out to shovel this morning, I said it has hardly snowed and he said and do you think those snowbanks built themselves. Then pointed out the amount of snow on the railings.

I was looking on line for who had the best deals for them wheeled suit cases. My kids need their own now for vacation & they want one with wheels. I was looking at Kohl's & noticed their store hours..........open at 6 AM.

Would love to go back to bed, my cold is dragging me down. But I have a load of clothes washing up right now & my tummy is growling it's hungry. Too much to do with not enough time left.

Winter advisory is out from 4 PM tomorrow (Thursday) until that time Friday. The rain will freeze because our temps are going to rocket down with winds 35 MPH with gusts of 50. Some could lose power. Snow is just 1-2", but it'll be hard to see it says at times & the roads will freeze with the temps.

I bet we'll have a1- 2 hr delay for school Friday morning. I sure hope we get less than what they're saying. Fri high will be only 32* & 80% snow showers with wind. Saturday sunny & high 35*.
Then 12/27 a high of just 28* & Friday 12/28 high 29*

Another day of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. We have only had one day this week without this stuff in the forecast and that was yesterday. Oh joy.

Kids are out of school for the third time this week. We are only in December and they have used up their alotment of snow days for the school year. This should be an interesting winter.
