2013 Paint Schemes

just goin by the drawing, i really like last years Ql's scheme as to the 2013, maybe it will look different when seeing the car at the track.

They should put an exclamation point after "NEWMAN"

that is a good question, personally i took it for granted that they be back, but looking at jayski's driver's table there was no listing of tornado, just QL(18), Wix(3), HAAS(?), ASPEN DENTAL(2), CODE 3(2), OUTBACK (3), total of 28 races with sponsorship this year, dunno if HAAS will pick up the remaining races.

Found out on another site that there was some bad blood between SHR and Ruiz Food Co. Supposedly Tornados was due to be on the car 8 times last year, but Ruiz pulled out and wanted to pay for only 5 races mid-way through the season. Shame because I really loved those cars, and to be honest, it made me a fan of the Tornados product. Never heard of them until they sponsored Newman and tried them out. Enjoyed them and became a return customer.

thanks for the info, thats a bummer it didnt work out, the car was very cool looking, i never tried any of the products, it looked like a quick way to clog the arteries, hahaha

Didn't know this, won't be buying any more El Monterrey. I loved Tornados but they stopped stocking them in grocery stores and went to convenience store rollers only, so I had to swap to El Monterrey but I'm not going to be supporting Ruiz any longer.
