5. Denny Hamlin(yes, I jumped on the Hamlin band wagon early during the Chase, and I'm not getting off. I will try and ignore the previous history with Crew Chiefs)
6. Against JJ, he's NASCAR's version of the Yankees or Patriots, he just wins too many races.
7. Against Dale Jr. I acknowledge that I like to be contrary, if someone is super popular like Jr, I end up disliking them some, not neccessarily because of anything they have done.

1. Tie between Ryan and Tony right now. I've liked Tony longer but Ryan has won me over these past few years.
2. Brad K.
3. ANYONE but the 99.
4. Tie between the "nice guys" (IMO) like Ambrose and Martin.
5. Anyone but Robby Gordon. Never liked him and that's long stemming from when he used to race off road.
6. Tie among Denny Hamlin, Dave Regan, Kevin Harvick and Jr.
7. Kyle Bush.
8. Anyone but Kurt Bush.
9. Danica (because she's a girl and in the SHR garage).
10. Finally, the King, JJ. He'd be my number 4 but he's so dang good that it's no fun to root for him anymore and I gravitate toward under dogs. Besides he loses points for his CC's personality.

Dale Earnahrdt Snr.always have,always will!
Will say Brad Keselowski at least raises my eyebrows,kids got guts!

5. I admit, I do cheer for the following drivers when they have a bad race day:
a. Vanilla and Cheater Chad (One can’t win without the other)
b. Flipper
c. Shrub
d. Does Menard even have a nickname?

1) well where do i begin, it starts and ends with JJ, greatest driver in nascar over the last 11 years, its great to see people jealous of he and chad, that boring old excuse callin them cheaters, thats like calling tubby stewart thin, hahaha


2)ryan isnt to shabby either


3) ABS = Anybody But Stewart..... that has been my mantra for years and will continue to be....

Tony has always been "my driver".........no one can ever take his place. He just has that certain something....he became my driver when he stepped off the airplane in Charlotte after running the Indy 500 and then the Coca Cola 600... That day he finished 6th at Indy and 3rd at CC 600, anyone who could do that well was OK in my books! I love his attitude, sense of humor and the twinkle in his eye. I love that he has a take no prisoners way, his generous spirit, his love of animals and his voice. Some of his best races, still make me cry......Homestead and Indy! In my book he can do no wrong and heaven help anyone who says different!

Next I like Ryan, Danica, and Harvick.......SHR drivers
Then I like Nelson Piquet Jr. in the truck series...
Brad will add a new face and new attitude to being a Champion....definitely not Vanilla and that is a good thing.

The other drivers I could care less about..................
I don't like anyone who gets in Tony's way during the race......

AnnaLee what you said about Tony is what I feel about him also. It just boils down to the fact he is one of the good guys. When one reads about his background and all the things he has done what is not to love. What you said about taking "no prisoners" is so true plus "he does not suffer fools". I never take anything seriously what the fans gripe about him as he is respected by the ones who know him and what he stands for. He also knows a person can't please everyone so he might just as well please himself.

Stewart is my only true favorite. Best all-around race car driver on the planet, I don't need a backup plan.

I do like Stenhouse Jr., Harvick, Hamlin, Labonte, Mark, Ryan, and Truex, but nobody tops Stewart ever (when Dale Jarrett, my third all-time favorite, beat him at Talladega in '05 and Bobby beat him in the N-wide race in '07, I was TICKED OFF). Beyond that, I don't really mind anyone but Biffle, but in a duel I will almost always root against Kahne or Kurt Busch. If they go against each other or one against Biffle, I bury my head in the toilet.
