Harvick to SHR in '14

This has become less about Ryan and Harvick and Tony and "that girl" and more about racer1.

Everyone knows MJ and I are friends. We are friends outside this forum as I am with alot of folks here. We don't agree on lots of things(it doesn't matter what they are) but what we do agree on is this. Trashing of this website and its long term members is not to be tolerated. It is not productive. Agree to disagree but don't make it so personal.

maybe the words i use are abrasive, but anyone that knows me, knows i didnt call her a prostitute of sex, it was my way of saying how she can push merch, heck i even called Jr a prostitute and no one flipped out about that, frankly im bored with reading every thread and it always ending up on danica, sure ill take the heat for mentioning her in this thread, but you cant bring up any driver without hearing about her accomplishments or lack there of, and we are suppose to walk on egg shells when she has a bad day, but the danica fans, dont have a problem trashing tony and ryan, but thats ok, lil danica is off limits from criticism, and if we go down that road her fans yell and scream that we know nothing about racing, we are ignorant and a bunch of haters.

MJ, it is like when I bring up politics and start bashing Obama and you as well as a few others get all bent out of shape. Kind of the same thing. Of course if Romney had won the election, it would be the same way for you...you probably would be looking for all his mistakes and mis-steps as well.

If the leaks did come from Harvick's camp, I could see the reason being as follows: Bud was starting to get serious about working on the sponsorship deal for the #29 at RCR for 2014 and beyond. Harvick wanted to let them know that he was looking to walk out the door, and wanted to take them with him to wherever he lands, which for right now seems to be SHR. Bud then slams the breaks on sponsorship for 2014. THAT would #### off Childress. Now he has to replace a driver AND sponsor to keep running the #29.

Who knows...it could be several sponsors...wouldn't that be nice.

Here's me just thinking, but If Harvick does come to SHR maybe, just maybe sponsorship may open up more for Ryan. Maybe they might agree to sponsor Ryan's car when not on or instead of Harvick. I know I'm not making any sense, but one can dream can't they?

Personally,i believe Ryan and Kevin are just as good as Tony in a Cup car given the right circumstances.The only thing Tony has over either of them is,nah i'll keep it to myself!

3 Championships???? I figured you wouldn't mind the secret getting out. They DO say tho' that lettin' the cat OUTTA the bag is a H3LLUVA lot easier than getting it back in......

It would be nice if Harvick comes over with Bud NASCAR needs some stability back in driver/sponsor relations. Bud has had, what, 3 drivers since Dale Jr? Home Depot is moving on to their 3rd. with all the sponsor and driver team hopping, it getting difficult to associate a product with a driver. I think that will cut in to sponsor $$ in the future. The personality is something they got before as a value added service, not just the screen time

Harvick is bringing both Bud and Jimmy Johns,seems RCR is losing alot of people and sponsors the past couple years.
