POST PHOENIX! DRAMA FILLED.............

You saw the race. Just about everything the drama folks could entertain in a race!

Ryan may have finished better but had to slide to start/finish line taking P5! :D

Jeffypoo went bonkers and wrecked a few cars. Very un-champion like but what ever! :?

S/H future team mate wins! Nice job Kevin! :D

Jimmie Johnson had problems so he's no longer in the lead.......thankfully! ;)

Have to see what happens at Homestead next week? :D

Re: POST PHOENIX! DRAMA FILLED.............

WOW!! What a mess! NASCAR should really have called a caution, Danica was a sitting in the middle of the track with cars coming at full speed and Ryan took a lot of hard hits.......I never saw Ryan get out of the car, hope he is okay.... JJ is out for now unless Brad has a total car failure or is taken out......Stranger things have happened

Tony just gave NASCAR a verbal protest to the NO CALL caution......they can call a caution for a water bottle......... But not for cars in the middle of the track! Real smart NASCAR!!!

Ryan was okay. I saw him get out, but when his spotter asked if he was ok, Ryan responded yeah, but that was a son of a b!tch hit though!

But he did get out & was ok. In his interview he blamed nascar for how they treated the end of the race with oil all over the place & said nascar put a lot of drivers in the incare field center today.
Good job Ryan!

Glad to see Ryan run well and also glad he spoke up. So many wrecked cars and sore bodies all because of NASCAR.

Re: POST PHOENIX! DRAMA FILLED.............

I know listening to Tony during the race it was stated by his spotter that NASCAR wasn't worried about what was going on to the cars further back, they were only concerned about what was going on up front.

I hated to see that. It really questions Nascar's credibility and consistency! :?

I'm starting to see Team #39 improving one "baby step" at a time! Next year could be so much more enjoyable but they will need to find more speed. Not huge leaps in speed but 5-10 added ponies if possible? :D Matt may find that next year? ;)

Re: POST PHOENIX! DRAMA FILLED.............

Good finish for Ryan, not so much for Tony.

Ok--looks like JJ took himself out, but I still dont care for the loud mouth Brad K but looks like JJ handed it to him crashing into the wall, but it happened to others as well. Anything can happen at Homestead i guess, but is there any chance that a Hendricks (or other) driver might accidently wreck Brad K early at Homestead--just wondering?

I think Newman would take a top 5 on fire with all four wheels missing! :D

Now that would be exciting to watch. ;) Maybe not from where Ryan would be sitting.

Re: POST PHOENIX! DRAMA FILLED.............

Again I like what I'm seeing with Borland. The call to keep him out when they did, would have been great if a yellow had come out about 30-40 laps after that in which everyone would come in, and Ryan would have still been running 2nd or 3rd (he had been around 15th). And then of course it was one of the few times in the race when a yellow didn't come out for a long time. He actually hung with Kyle for awhile on no tires, I think they got the car working better towards the end too.

Somehow things ended up where he scored a top 5, pretty decent run, things could have worked out where Ryan was where Harvick was at the end. I guess some of the wrecks helped too with Ryan gaining those spots. Another GWC and Ryan along with BK was first in line of those who had more fuel than the top 4 guys did, could have been interesting.

actually the leaders were gonna pit in about 5 laps so if the yellow didnt come out Ryan might have retook the lead racing on fresh tires so much longer than the leaders. I do like that Borlands just doesnt do monkey see, monkey do, like some other guy I know.

Re: POST PHOENIX! DRAMA FILLED.............

If I remember right this is not the only time he has finished in reverse....... :?:

A little off subject, with out any poles, the only way Ryan can get into the Budweiser Shoot Out is with the popularity vote.....ok, we will just stuff the ballot box!! We can do this!!! Think we have plenty of time..........
