We are under a storm watch where we stand to receive not less than 4 inches of snow. While this is not much, there will be a lot of ice in this storm as well.

We need something to get politics off Beavers mind, the Maine Senate and Maine House of Representatives went to the Democrats and SSM (Same Sex Marriage) passed as well as being stuck with the same lousy President. When he went to bed at 1:00am, Romney still had the lead in popular vote.

Sad day for America. 4 years of more going down the drain.

Well, I knew I should have gotten gas the other day. I could have gotten it for $3.12, but now it's up to $3.47. It always goes up for the weekend, but this is just Wed.

Does anyone have troubles with their front loading wash machine? Mine quit working on me with 5 mins to go flashing a code I need to look up in the book. I checked the clothes & knew they'd be wet, so I set them over to spin & drain & it just wouldn't spin or drain & just buzzed at me. Of course I can't move the lug of a machine to get back to unplug the thing, so I had to flip every single breaker I had until I found the right one. I made a lable for that one while I was at it too. Now the hubby has to get it out to check the drain hole. I've had more problems with the draining part. This makes 3 times in 7 yrs.

My parents have the Maytag brand and they had an error code once. They called a tech who told them that it meant you need to clean your filters. My father said "what?" The tech said "most front load machines have filters that have to be either cleaned or replaced from time to time or it won't drain properly because all the water can't get through the system."

So they took all the clothes out, bailed the machine so my father could move it, and low and behold he found the filters the tech was talking about. He placed a small bucket under and just replaced them that time, but since then...he just cleans the filter because it is cheaper and he stays on top of it because he knows they are there.

I am not saying this is your issue. But, it might be a good starting point. Obviously finding out what the error code means would be helpful. Considering Kenmore, Whirlpool, Maytag, and a couple of others are all made by the same people...it is worth checking out.

Thanks beaver, that was the problem, it found some trim nails, a penny, carpenter staples, & a broken small pencil. I have my load washing now testing the drain system out. Already went thru 5 bath towels to wipe up water from draining underneath that missed buckets. I be dog gone if I can't find that manuel on the washer. I find one for the dryer but not the washer. It HAS to be here someplace.

With what you found, I would be checking those pockets a lot more carefully because that is a lot easier and a lot cheaper than a new washer. Sure it can be time consuming and a royal pain, but the alternative would make it all the worth it. Of course you could always pass the buck onto the perpetrators of the problem...although that would be like calling a repairman to Tim Taylor's house on Home Improvement.

If there is no satisfaction in it for him, then why do it.

Google the make & model number of your machine. I find operating manuals for almost everything I own online in PDF format. My PC is full of manuals.

I would love to touch that statement, but I will be nice.

But this weekend is looking great. Saturday 66* & Sunday 65*.
Monday will be a ton of rain 70% but temp will be nice, 61*.

Then the dreaded, Tuesday will be high of 40*.

It's 7 Am now & the temp has dropped to 28*

Brrrrrrrrrrr... it's 51° in Tampa this morning!

Gotta fix Mrs HH's old desktop PC today... I think the HDD went bad... off to CompUSA. I hate rebuilding PCs, sooooo many programs to remember to reload. This will take me several days and I'll probably still forget some programs.
