I am not worried about that here is to lose power, then I know we could go to my parents and put all of our fridge stuff in theirs. I would only bring stuff that I know would spoil quickly.

To them it is no big deal.

Got some rain going to hit here in a little bit, maybe an hr or less away. Looks to be from the spin off from Sandy coming on shore. One weather channel says showers tonight, another says showers mixed with snow with little to no accumulation.

All I know is it's cold, 43* & inside the house doesn't feel all that warm either.

Burr.

I seen on line winds will be felt as far as Chicago.

Well it's not that strong of winds. Winds here 25 MPH. 30% showers tonight
Tomorrow 26 MPH high of 44* 10% (local weather says 40%)
Tuesday 28 MPH 80% rain/snow showers high 42* (local weather says gusts up to 40)
Wednesday 22 MPH 50% showers high 43* (says 60% chance showers)
Thursday 12 MPH 30% showers high 47*

I posted from the weather channel but our local stations always differ & they differ from local station to local station.

Too: Everyone in Sandy's path, Please be Safe

Even though we are going to be on the southern outer fringe of Sandy, I have everything ready for Awsum20 to get through the storm. Propane for the camp stove and grill for cooking, bottled water,
oil for the lamps as well as all her scented candles. We've just had light sprinkles and winds of 25 to 35 mph. but nothing different then a summer t-storm so far. I'm heading back down toRaleigh again this week. Although I have no idea what for.

I think the weather channel on-line needs to update. Our closest TV station (1/2 mile away) is stating 70% today & the weather channel's radar on-line shows the light rain turning over to pink on radar, a mix. Shows it'll be here about 7:15 AM.

Tomorrow more of the same, rain/snow mix but 90%

It is 33* on Mount Washington with winds of 68 mph

It is 50* here in Bridgton and winds of 12 mph

It is 39* in Texas Motor Speedway

Winds here is going to be up to 65 -70 mph after 5 pm thru tomorrow .

Wind gusts up to 40 MPH here. Just had off & on showers. It's like a bad windy March day. Currently 39* with a wind chill of 34* winds 20 MPH gusting to 31

I am not sure how much rain we have had. I know there have been about 85,000 people without power.

It is currently 60* and the winds are blowing around 15 or 20 mph.

Winds were blowing steadily from late yesterday afternoon to about midnight at about 60 mph.

It is currently 43* on Mount Washington with 42 mph winds.

I was just watching the news and there are various parts of North Carolina that have received 4, 6, up to 12 inches of snow.

How twisted is that. North Carolina is getting snow and Maine is in the 60s

There's this 4 letter word flying around here & I want it to stop!

That's what we're getting now. On-line Weather Channel says 1-2" by noon.
But I don't think it'll measure that because it's so wet as it is now & the ground still some what warm still. It was coming down pretty good by the kids school, but has tapered off to light flurries right now. So far, everyone around here still has power, but some places in the northers part of Ohio is witht power, they're getting stronger winds than us.

Weather updated....... About 1" of snow expected now today.
Winds could gust over 40 MPH today.

Hopefully there's nothing that lays out there, but if there is, it'll just be slush.

Haven't heard how my sister-n-law is doing in RI. Hope all's ok with her.
