Mornin gang, Ahhhhh, a beau-T-ful 63* & sunny sky's High of 83*

Took my Dad down to the doctors today. We were down on the ocean and it was 81* by the time we reached home again nearly two hours later it was 59*.

He had all the staples removed today from surgery. It was very uncomfortable on the way down and even more uncomfortable on the way back.

Guess i'll be putting my heat on this week.All because of Sandy.

Ugh, one slightly cooler day and it's back to the mid-80's... WTH, it's almost November...

Finally got home from the State School Board Convention to find a list of things my father wants done before this stupid hurricane comes in. So I took him around this afternoon to get some errands done, but I spent most of the day raking up all the leaves and getting them out of my yard as I have already received everybody elses in the neighborhood...17 bags and 7 hours worth of labor later, it is done and at the compost heap at the transfer station. Oh my aching back.

Tomorrow I will go move the gas grill and put it inside the garage from the porch and set up the generator for my parents. This thing is a piece of cake to operate. Push a single button, plug her in to the house and it runs five lights, the stove, the fridge, the well, and the septic system. What more could they ask for. They already have a propane fired fireplace, so heat will not be an issue.

We're not s'pose to get to much of this storm. Only about 3-4" of rain and winds MAY get to gusting at 35 m.p.h.
