SHR 2013 Crew Chiefs

I think Ryan will still have a new CC for 2013. Just makes more sense. But the way everything has been worded it kinda leaves it up in the air still.
I dont think Borland is taking a demotion, & he sure cant do the dsouble duty thing (both jobs) all year long next year.
Think this is just to help Danica get a jump on her 2013 season, & it helps Ryan simply because TG isnt on the team anymore.

Curious what the deal is with the pit crews the rest of this season as well.

I've been busy all day.....but when I heard the news I thought about all of you Ryan fans and about how Christmas came early for y'all this year.

Pit crew is my concern as well. I believe Danica currently use the same team Rooty does in the #10. We all know that Ryan's crew came with Gibson, so my fear is that they may not try their best because they don't care??! Maybe they won't perform any differently & my fear is irrational. Just don't know with those guys, we will see tomorrow, I guess.

From what I remember, TG said he sat down with the crew and went through this scenario with them and they were all on board. I would hope any crew would be as professional as possible. It's very competitive out there and they'd only be screwing themselves as far as their future in NASCAR is concerned. Plus, from the looks of it, Zippy is seeing the problems and will deal with them. All of their reputations are on the line and reputation and performance make or break you in this sport. From what I've seen, TG is the only one that seems to give up and then shake if off as another "oh well", there's next week. Problem is, next week is just the same for him...

did they finally listen to what people have been saying for 4 years now? I guess Matt's had enough of his family time or whatever to get back in, but it's been a while for him. But this is great, and no doubt Ryan appeared happy yesterday.

not sure I care so much about losing the crew now or other Tony G. people. This new team should just do their own thing from scratch anyhow from top to bottom. Losing the pit crew may be an issue, but SHR coaches and supplies crew for the 78, maybe they work a deal to get that crew to the 39 and have FR fend for their own - or go to RCR now for that.

What I noticed in his interview is when Ryan mentioned Matt knows how to adjust the cars LOL!
