Because we lost phone service briefly and internet service not quite as long, I was able to log on to the town's fire & police dept. facebook pages to find out there were some propane tanks that were knocked over as well as some propane fired hot water heaters.

Because my parents were in no position to check the seasonal properties they are responsible for when nobody is around. So I went out around to check them all and everything was fine, no explosions. Thankfully.

When all else fails...hire somebody. I decided to hire to build a set of stairs that goes from the first floor to the third floor and repair some of the decking along the way. Call it laziness I guess or stretching myself to thin between 5 properties at the moment.

35* here in the woods and all is quiet...thankfully.

My daughter asked me to turn on the tv and I told her to hold her horses and listen to the Christmas music...you read that right. Don't ask and I won't have to explain.

I am so losing my mind.

Xmas music?!? But the pumpkin just got carved and the turkey isn't even on the table yet.

How can you lose something you never had, Beav? (just messin' with ya)

hahahahahahaha... A laugh is the right way to start the day

Got to work with the neighbors daughters today. These neighbors are like our extended family as we like to do things together including vacations. We made three large pans of blueberry buckle and three large pans of apple brownies. Oh does everything taste so delicious. The girls and I delivered a pan of each to my parents, then they took a pan of each home after helping me clean up the kitchen, and we just had a blast.

Their Mom said she is no good at desserts. Her thing is main dishes and side dishes. Their oldest said she feels breakfast coming on early like midnight...she made the blueberry buckle. She offered to do dishes for week for a piece right then, but her mother said no...her mother said her oldest would never hold up her end of the bargain.

Their son, who is a pre-teen, wants to help me do a series of lasagna dishes for the same three families. I would do my homemade sauce ahead of time as it usually takes a few hours to make with prep time.

That's awesome beave... Now I've got a craving...
