Just Tony

This is the last time I'm going to comment. The fans were happy that Tony went for the win. But we saw a different Tony. We saw a desperate Tony. We see a Tony that is unhappy and unprofessional.
Overweight,unhealthy,overtired,worried. The fans want him to be healthy. Something's wrong.

Where did you get those ideas from? overweight unhealthy and overtired?

I actually agree with part of that. He does look like he's gained some weight back, but that might just be the fire suit. He doesn't seem happy to me though I don't know about the tired. He did have to fly to a wedding reception after qualifying but I would hope he knows better than to party too hard before that race. The problem is, we don't truly know, only he and those close to him know. I do believe that was a desperate move that wrecked a lot of cars and was a poor judgement call. IMO His spotter should have let him know how fast the 13 and 55 were coming. I listened to Clint's radio all race and he knew where everyone was around him, who was pushing them, and if they were coming or just riding. Clint's spotter really impressed me, he was on it all race long.

We do know he does not eat healthy, that's no secret. He loves his King card. I know when he's here in Phoenix, he usually eats Papa John's pizzas on the flight back. I quit eating Papa John's a long time ago, that dipping sauce is to die for and die from it you will...

Now dont go blaming the spotter. Tony knew what was happening & where Mikey was going. His move was on purpose (to block) & everyone knows everyone is going for it on the last turn of the race. There is no riding. Everyone seems to always want to use the spotter excuse for drivers. This 100% on Tony this day. I dont listen to tonys spotter, but his spotter could have said they are coming fast & Tony still would have done what he did. (he was watching them come mirror driving)

Quit picking on the spotter

By no means was I picking on the spotter. I have no idea what Tony's spotter said. I was impressed with Clint's spotter. I have no problem putting this on Tony. He said he was going for it and he did. That's on him. The myth of the Tallegdega big one could have been avoided by just one person, Tony Stewart. My problem is his rant at Indy about blocking and then what does he do? Really? He deserved to be 43rd, IMO. He's the only one that is entitled to block? Get over yourself and yet again he will not repeat. What is his weakness compared to JJ? Not repeating. And sorry, get over it people, he's never backed up a championship with a championship and never will... Go ahead, hit me with your best shot...

No Schmoop, I am not the one with blinders on. Tony caused this and it was unnecessary. Just because this is the last restrictor plate race with this car is no reason to throw caution to the wind. Despite the safety factors now in place, doesn't mean someone couldn't have been hurt. Tony included. It was a bonehead move and I truly hope he loses sleep over it. I've not heard one race reporter think he did the right thing. Not that they are the know all be all, but still don't #### about someone doing what you, yourself do. That definition is hypocrite. Look it up and move on...

If i remember right most restrictor plate races are won or lost by the person in the lead blocking the people behind them. I guess this one is just getting so much attention because it involves tony!

Coming down across someones front fender isn't blocking,TOO LATE! The man admitted he did it and didn't give a good #### about the out come of it!
Far as Newman,i think leaving Penske was a bad idea from the start and i'll leave it at that.

WAS being the key word,he #### up and ruined everyone elses day including the fans for what could have been an exciting end of a race! Like i said,it's all about Tony and i think it pretty much sums up where Ryan stands because of that fact.The incident with Kyle was no differant when Tony took him out awhile back when he cut across Tony's fender,Kyle took himself out.No one needs to stir the pot,Tony does it all on his own!
