Weekly Picks & The 1 Point Club

We will be having a carrot cake with candy corn around the edges for color and I went with a pecan/coconut frosting. We will also be having chicken-ala-king and a seafood bake. I will also serving seafoam salad as it seems to go with a lot of meals when adjusted for flavor.

So is anyone going for a Bloomin Onion today?

Missed last week, but not tonight! We have become friends with a great group of Newman fans and I can't wait to see what their take on the "Crew chief" matter is..... should be an interesting evening! Lots to talk about.

I'll be going also. Sure wish I was out there with you Annalee. Apparently there are not many NASCAR fans in the Pacific NW or they don't know what a "Bloomin'" onion is...? Last time I went in for a Bloomin' onion, the waitress didn't know what I was talking about. She never even heard of Ryan Newman, SHR and thought NASCAR had something to do with football...OMG...SMH...

I wish you could come too! We have such a great time....the manager, who has also become a fan, saves a number of tables together....who knew.... what a Blooming onion ad could have done for his business. Ryan had dinner at one of the Charlotte area, Outback's a couple of weeks ago...now that would be really be fun!

Hmmm, I see the points r in I'll take my little 2 points & drop back to 6 place BUT, we have to watch-out for Mrs B & Mrs HH They r comin up Fast!!!!

J fell from 1st to 6th.

I fell from 6th to 12th.

HH is now in 30th.

But now this is where things get interesting for a couple of us.

Mrs H passed her husband by 40 points to come in at 22nd.

Mrs B passed me by 5 points to come in at 11th place.

I made sure to point this out to him And I didn't join until Mar 24th of this year, so I missed the first few races and STILL managed to get in the top 1000 for our Chase. I'm peaking at the right time.
