Chilly he says...good grief...you would not know what chilly was if it slapped you on the butt...

We were 34* here this morning at 7:00 when I got up to get the little ones ready for school.

"Chilly" is a relative term and very subjective. I understand j's use of the term, considering we both live in Flori-duh.

But J should be used to it being he's from Tenn.

Back up in Timberville for a few days. If only the bosses would listen to the people in the field.
We're working some weird hours, 4:00 am to 7:30 am & 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If that won't screw up the biological clock.

They won't start listening until they themselves start doing it. I remember this first hand. I worked my way up to Asst. Territory Manager. I think one of the funniest things I ever saw was my boss using a cash register. Now it was very obvious he was out of his element and he tried to get me to take over for him. My line to him was "that job is beneath me now"...I was kidding of course and every store in our territory knew it as they knew there was nothing I would not do that they did not do. Although I was more of the go to guy for investigations and fix it problems on the software side of things because all the stores had different software programs and I was the only one in the territory to not only use them all, but also program them all and debug them. As I started to say, I also handled our investigations in our territory...whether it be for employee theft or for customer fraud or theft. I used to be in law enforcement, so having those contacts was still useful.

Seeing my boss on a cash register was priceless, nobody in our corporate office believed me or him that this was taking place and that he could not get back to the office for this reason. So I had said " we will just take some pictures with you being your same ole' grumpy self and that should be good enough." Oh that went over big.

At our annual company dinner...guess what made its way into the presentation, you guessed it, my pictures of my boss working so unhappily behind that cash register. The thing is everybody thought it was the funniest thing they ever saw and then it was said, it is a good thing for District Managers to get out there and do these things from time to time...that is when some mouths started dropping because they realized the CEO was serious.

Current temp is 61* & getting up to 74* with T-showers today. Radar shows it on screen now, but it's all north & south of us as it heads east.

We are at 44* with a high of 66* and rain throughout the day...yuck !!!

It is colder now than when I got up this morning. It is now 48*. Go figure.

It's rained off & on so far today like yesterday. We're currently at 64*. Our high is supposed to be 69. It was supposed to be 74 one day a few days ago but never got but mid-upper 60's. I don't see today getting out of the 60's either.

Ok, this explains why my cat was up here on my computer table. I sat down here & something caught my eye. I looked closer at the dark area on my key board at the top & there was this little grain of rice looking thing.

A MOUSE POOP

I have 2 new traps set in the kitchen, never used these before. Safe for pets. I'll have to put one of them in here & one in the front room. I haven't seen any evidence in the kitchen (yet).

My cat has caught a mouse before, he so proudly carried it in to us. I about flipped out while the hubby just rolled laughing.
