NASCAR BACK IN CHICAGO!

Now that Newman is officially out of the Chase. His race team can concentrate on improving car balance, pit road speed(and mistakes) and mainly over all team improvement. They should of been doing this since 2009. If this race team is content......they all need a mental evaluation!

Newman is saying very little in regards to anything these days so we have to assume or speculate anything concerning him or his race team. Not complaining just my observation. I figure it's because he has two babies to worry about and less obsession about Nascar racing!

The race is Sunday 1:00PM(ET).

I looked for the Haas car in practice but couldn't find it. They finally show Ryan in what looked like the Dental car. On the MRN site they say he's s'pose to be in the Gene Haas Foundation Workshops For Warriors

OK with Tony winning this race last year, and Ryan finishing 8th, we should expect SHR to have something right?

I know things are never the same, but if I'm them, especially Gibson/Newman - I'd be starting off with the 14's race setup from last year. Heck, give Ryan the same exact chassis if it hasn't been wrecked in the past year. It just goes to my argument that Ryan should be driving Tony's setups. If Gibson wants to change something, tell him no.

That's the best idea posted on here in a long time, keep them coming .........at Richmond they used Tony's race set up and they did fairly well, just a few hiccups in the pits.

what your forgetting is last year Tony mentioned relying heavily on Ryans set ups. Tony would try one thing while Ryan tried another. Ryan has good set ups. It is the adjustments in race that make the car crap.

There's no pictures posted on the internet of his special paint scheme that I know of? So, I took the picture off my post.

He is driving a red & White Workshop for Warriors car.

They want to get to 13th place but I also think they'll be trying some things. This is their best opportunity to do this.

the team should be disected during the chase so they can improve for 13'
but dont think that will happen as long as the 14 is still in the hunt.

The chassis Ryan is running has 3 top 10's this year, Indy, Pocono and Michigan. Sounds like another bloomin' onion Monday to me...

Tony's chassis is new so we'll see. He ran a lot of laps in practice...
