SHR VIP Garage Chase Format Begins!

VIP Garage Members! It’s that time of year again when the competition gets fierce! The same can be said for the VIP Garage as this year’s Grand Prize is nothing short of INCREDIBLE!

As you have probably already noticed, the top 1000 point scorers have been reset and the field has been leveled. You’ll have the next 10 weeks to earn as many points as you can. The Winner’s Picks area now awards more points than ever! At the end of the season, we’ll randomly pick one lucky winner from the top 25 scorers.

This year’s grand prize is an autographed piece of sheet metal. This is the trunk lid from Tony’s car raced at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA, on June 26, 2011. Tony started 20th and finished 39th after a run-in with Brian Vickers that ended both of their races early.

It is signed by Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, and Danica Patrick.

Every time I try to earn extra points, I never get them. I hope my fantasy picks can keep me in the top 25. I've been leading them for most of the year.

Also, it seems the extra 100 bonus pick has last years Chase driver instead of this years.

that's for sure, I was wondering about that when i saw both Busch bro's in the list, not this year boys.

Maybe they just haven't gotten around to getting this year's chase drivers entered correctly.

One question: if they leveled the top 1000 members in points to 5000 points each, how come 14 players already have 5005 points? How does that happen?

that's a very good question, i did not notice that one, but i did notice that everyone down to position 851, has 5000 and everybody below that had 180 or so +/- a few, maybe they just didn't get to everyone yet.

I was just looking at the Bonus Picks and they are not correct. They have last years list up there with Ryan and Carl listed and are missing Truex and Kahne.

This needs to be addressed sooner rather than later.

Its from logging in, you get 5 points for logging in ever day.

I log in every day along with all the other top 1000, so that's not it.

It's almost Noon on Saturday and they haven't fixed it yet.

Attention (or lack thereof) to details!

Yeah me too I have logged in every day how is it there are a few with 5010 and a lot more with 5005. I was in 9th place before the reset now I'm in 78th. There should be some bonus points some how in there. I also havnt gotten not one newsletter this year and whatever happened to the easter eggs.

I'm a bit PO'D....Last year we had a reasonable amount of time in notification. I work the overnite shift and I usually make my picks by Wednesday afternoon. I don't normally look back until race day. We should've gotten the SAME amount of notice instead of just ONE DAY. I tried to put JJ in as my bonus pick AFTER I'D NOTICED the notification (albeit a WEEK later than USUAL) Is there a way to rectify this problem ?? I dropped from 17th to 82nd due to a lack of notification and am NOT particularly thrilled about it...........Thanks

I noticed this morning that they fixed the list of Chase drivers for the 100 point bonus picks.
