What is with all the spam

I have counted more than 10 threads with spam in them tonight and more than 25 to 30 posts.

What is up with that? Other forums I belong to have built in spam filters to prevent these type of things.

There are ought to be a way for the administrators to prevent these morons from doing this to our site.

YES!!! BEAVER there are some sick ones out there !! they are messing up the threads with dumb $h%&.

I have been reporting them as I run across them...if somebody else has not done it already.

To do so, there is a little triangle next to the "quote" button where you can report the spam. When the dialoque box comes up, just type the word "spam" so they know why you are reporting it.

Other times, if it has already been reported...it will tell you right off. Just click on the line below it saying return to topic...or something like that.

I sent an email to Animink about two hours ago.......hopefully they will keep an eye on whoever is doing it...It was getting way out of hand!

There were about six threads infected and something like 15 posts.

Ok, I was just reading this post when I saw a new post pop up "Hair Problems?" Geez... I'm wondering if the site problems had something to do with all the spam lately. We used to get them once in a while, but I don't remember them posting to established threads.
