Weather........??

Weather radar for Pocono isn't looking good.......They have moved up the start time for the race. Maybe a Joey Logano race....

What do you mean, "moved up?" The NASCAR website still says Noon.

It always rains at the poconos.Everytime i use to go it rained. Takes about 2 hours to dry that track.

Looking at radar, the rain cell that is currently over the track is about to pass. There is a large area of clear skies, but then another band of rain that is currently over western PA, heading east.

I'm no weatherman so I don't know if they will have enough time to dry the track & get the race in before that next wave of rain hits.

Let's see - the jet dryers are out on the track and JPM is first in the line of cars as they sit on pit road. Hmmmmm... what could go wrong with that arrangement?!?

Just googled it......means enough rain to drown a toad......whatever that means. A BUCKET LOAD OF WATER CAUSE TOADS CAN'T SWIM........

Ten fans were injured by a lightning strike after the race, probably the same one that knocked ESPN's signal out briefly.

One of those fans was DOA. Pray for their family and the rest of the injured fans, please.

we got the same storm as they did a couple mins later, it was a nasty one, sorry to hear of people gettin hurt and passing away...

One of the people struck by lightening at Pocono and was in critical condition has passed away.....thoughts and prayers to the family.
