POST DAYTONA THE LOVE FEST FOR S/H RACING!

Well, you saw the race! The coin toss landed "heads up" for the 14 and the 39 thankfully!

Newman got punked by bone head Gordon in the pits and lost a ton of spots. That got me fired up! Ryan has had more than his share of these "bone head" mistakes by other Nascar drivers!

The dominate cars very obviously was the 16/17 all race. But the 16 got caught up in the big wreck at the end.

Figures Logano snuck through with Ryan during the big wreck One point separates Newman and Logano. Ryan was pretty lucky in avoiding the big one! Luck he usually doesn't ever seem to have.

Newman finishes 5TH and is 15TH in points. May need another win to get into the Chase.

Congrats to Team #14 on their win number 3! Tony is 5TH in points!

Team #39 still has some work ahead of them if they want to get in the Chase. I think they can get it done!

It was such a mess and I was such a (celebrating) mess at the finish that I didn't know what had happened to who in that last wreck. I assumed Ryan had been caught in it with his bad luck...let out a 'whoop' as big as the one I had for Tony when I found out he snuck through and finished 5th.

I almost don't want to say it for fear of jinxing, but I have a good feeling about Ryan's Chase bid. It'll take a lot of work still but it's very possible.

Ryan is only one point out of the wild card slot in the chase. Joey is in front of him by the one point.....Loudin is next. Piece of cake!!

Ryan better drive his #### off. Can't have Logano making the chase.

Yea Doc Ryan was on the good side of racing luck for a change. You could run a 30 minute show of all the incredible bad luck Newman has had in his many years of racing but he takes it all in stride like any great driver!
