Ryan to start 3rd

Just watched qualifying on my computer and Ryan qualified 3rd right behind his boss with Tony qualifying 2nd.

I know Tony & ryan dont work well together when they tandem.
Has anyone get to watch the practices to see who Ryan was drafting with? (Saw he was over 201)
Also Denny has a stand by driver in case he cant finish the race due to his back, so not too sure if they would pair up.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I am more concerned about his drafting partner. Saw that Ryan & Joey had similar times in practice. Woudnt that be funny as #### if Joey & Ryan were working together LOL.

No it would not be funny! Mainly cuz Ryan likes to be the pushee not the pusher. If Joey was the pusher he would prolly push Ryan right into the wall.

I'm thinking that with Ryan starting 2nd now, that maybe he could hook up with KK. Unless HMS can only push HMS. Biffle will be staring 4th, so what are the chances that Matt will choose the outside to start in front of his own teammate? That would leave KK behind Ryan. But JG would be behind KK though. Who knows what will happen. Just throw a dart at the board, cuz that is what this race is. LOL

I think Ryan will get left out to dry at start & wont stay up front for long. maybe not even a lap. Would be nice though, if he could get his bonus point at the beginning of the race though. I am more worried about Ryan having a drafting partner in the long term. Not the start of the race. Usually everyone trys to plan who they want to go with, & usually I have an idea who that might be for Ryan. However this race I am clueless on who is willing to work with Ryan. Would love for him to stay up front & out off the carnage, but I dont see it happening.

thing is Logano is a very good pusher. I know I dont like saying good things about him, & Kyle was always complaining how he was pushing, but Kyle is also a pusher. In fact all of JGR are excellent pushers. Logano was able to push whoever to the front. When Logano was a front car he is kinda wreckless. If Logano wouldnt wreck him, they would have probably been a good combo.
