OK gang, I know this is only Hummp-Day. But Michigan track is comin up I Hate that track.... Any-Hoo, I was thinkin this is the last track that Jr has won on in Hmmmmmm, 100 & some-odd race's...
With Jr's record of 5 top 5s & 11 top tens, will this be the-end of his losein streak???? I'm thinkin of pickin him in my picks this week....or should I quite thinkin tell after qual's?????

Mrs B and I have made some picks and about all they have in common is that we both have some Chevys in the mix at the moment.

I went ahead and made some initial picks, too. We'll see if I change my mind after quals tomorrow.

The Ouija Board spoke to me and I made my picks. It's as good as pulling 3 drivers' names out of my magic crock or using J's crystal ball when he remembers to put batteries in it. This week's picks are really a crap shoot. I'm the Rookie here...cut me some slack since the Tire Gods intervened at the last minute.

Does somebody know the story as to why the NASCAR lineup has Edwards listed as 45th. No times listed, no nothing. Did he not qualify or did he have somebody else do it for him or did he wreck? Just curious.

He had a problem with his car. He turned around before taking the green and started over, but whatever was wrong with it, they just told him to shut it down. He technically didn't complete a qualifying lap.

Had something to do with the fuel, I think. Whatever it was, it was fixed before this afternoon's practice. He was pretty fast...

Edwards had mechanical problems and didn't complete a qualifying lap. He is taking a modern day provisional. By the time of the extra practice, his car was running fine. Someone said it was a valve spring but I didn't hear that was verified.

So, does that mean he starts 43rd or what ever other cars are behind him for crashing in practice or having to replace an engine or training?
