THE COKE 600 RACE SUNDAY!

This coming Monday is the day we observe all the men/woman who have died serving in our Armed Forces for this the greatest country on Earth. Although this great country does have many problems that need to be addressed. It's still number one in my humble opinion. My only wish is both "sides of the isle" would some how come together and take care of business. Not sure if that will ever happen in my lifetime?

I am a U.S. Army veteran myself. So, I can't help but reflect and show my respect to those who have passed on protecting all of us. I would never say war is good or bad. I wish there was world peace but I'm not seeing that anytime soon?

More than likely this may be the Team #48 "sweep?" I sure hope not. At least make this race interesting!

Ryan Newman through out his racing career has been able to get many poles at this track but can't seem to be able to "close the deal!" His best finish was back in 2009 with a 2ND place.

Newman's numbers look like the following:STARTS OF: 1/1/6/6/11/12
FINISHES OF: 2/9/10/11/31/36

Team #48 seems to be "smoking hot" right now so that is the team to beat!

Nascar practice will be as follows:Thursday 3:30PM(ET) Saturday 10:00AM&1:00PM(ET) with Quals Thursday at 7:00PM(ET) Green flag about 8:22PM(ET) Sunday the 27TH!

I sure can't predict the outcome of this race. It's a long one and we all know anything can and will happen.........especially to Ryan Newman!

I know deep down in Ryan's heart he really want's to represent the U.S.Army to the best of his ability. That's a given. There are a lot of people serving that are supporting Ryan because of his affiliation with the U.S.Army no doubt! That's why I am so passionate about having him do well. Plus, I'm a fan from 2002 to current!

I realize Newman has never worn the uniform of a soldier but he has spent a lot of time being shown what it's like.

A race win would be great but I will take Newman's best effort along with the support of his race teams best effort!

This was another one of those races that Newman seemed to be in a fixed racing position between like 12TH thru 20TH!

Sad really. You go out in P16 and 600 miles later, your P14 several laps down. I know how badly Ryan would have loved to win this race for his primary sponsor and what it represents. Can't blame Newman............

I could say NOTHING week to week on here, as many do but,that's just not me. That's also NOT participating to this blog. I may be "beating a dead horse" in hopes it will some how wake up and be alive again in referring to Team #39! But, what else can we talk about.......really?

its not the president looking to stop the funding, he may not be perfect, but he wasnt the one who put kids in harms way over the last 10 years to finish something daddy started 20 years earlier, but i guess that is ok, because he was a moron bush gets a pass on everything he did to help destroy this country.

i didnt cross the line, tell me where, i didnt say nothing about the armed forces, i respect them, my brother in law fought in this war for 7 years, if he wasnt in iraq, he was in afghanistan, im sick and tired of people censoring me, i made a comment that it isnt obama looking to cut the funding to a car, and yea, i shared my thoughts about bush, but i forgot the double standard, people can bash obama in threads which they have, and thats cool, its their right, but i cant cuz they differ, if ya dont like me BLOCK ME, im not the sights punching bag.
