I'll Have Another !!!

Is anyone here a horse racing fan besides me? The Preakness Stakes just now was awesome! I grew up not far from Hollywood Park and the company my mom worked for had box seats so we used to go all the time. Gotta love the ponies! We could maybe have a Triple Crown winner this year! I'm so stoked right now. My throat kinda hurts from yelling but I don't care.

The Belmont is in 3 weeks, can't wait

I agree doc. He's kinda scrawny, but he runs with heart and hopefully he can do a mile and a half. I hope he comes out of this race well.

I thought he looked very scrawny! But maybe that is why he runs so well! Less to carry around the track. Compared to all the other triple crown winners he is smaller and thinner.

I don't think Smarty Jones was a triple crown winner. He wasn't listed anywhere I looked. Citation, Affirmed, Secretariat,War Eagle,Assault ,Count Fleet, Whirlaway,War Admiral, Ohmaha, Sir Barton, Fox Gallant, but no Smarty Jones . What year did he win the triple crown?

I have high hopes for a "triple crown". Horse racing needs the excitement.

yeah, I know he wasn't a triple crown winner, just mentioning he was a small horse that had the opportunity to, like this horse does. Of course there have been plenty of huge horses that had the opportunity and never completed it. I thought we were gonna see it with smarty jones, but he got beat @ belmont (pretty good too). I don't think this horse will be favored as well in the belmont as it was in the preakness
