Congrats to Denny Hamlin Kudos to Truex Jr

Denny Hamlin made some great late race moves. While the commentators were talking JJ, Hamlin and Truex Jr had the best battle at Kansas since Nemecheck vs Rudd.

Feel for Martin. He hasn't won in 175 races and gave his heart out. This team is for real this year.

funny i watched the same race, i didnt hear them go on about JJ, and if they did talk about him a lot, maybe its because the last few weeks, he has been running up in the top 5 every week, and it is well deserved, he has picked up 272 points in 7 races, so that in itself deserves to be talked about, no matter who achieved it, you have this obsession with him, which comical,

Yet they paid no attention to Hamlin pretty much until he made the pass. It's almost like they cheer for JJ. If your a non JJ fan itgets old but hey it's been this way since 2006. Another thing is they cornered JJ's pit road issues and totally ignored Tony's pit crew having issues. The media loves JJ because he says the right things.

haha....Congrats! I was rather frustrated...my 3 picks all finished in the top 10 but only one in the top 3. At least I'll have 11 points, though.

Truex will win a race, if not more than one, just a matter of when/which IMO. I'm glad to see him doing so well.

For a while, I was thinking it might have been Allmendinger's day to win one... then disaster struck him. Too bad.

My picks finished 4th, 5th and 13th. Two weeks in a row Tony is the lowest finisher in my top three picks . The Dinger looked strong, he wasn't pulling away like Truex Jr did, but he was able to stay ahead. If it wasn't for his engines.

Truex Jr is a good little driver, I remember when he came into cup in 2006, I thought he would do really well right off the bat, but instead he has only had two good seasons in cup (2007 when he won and finished 11th in points, and 2008 when he finished 15th). His last few seasons have been pretty bad finishing 23rd, 22nd and 18th in points. Some were beginning to think that he was just another nw champion who wasn't going to do well in cup. But he just needed a good team under him. Now he has that, which is why he is doing well. Still 175 races is a long time, he needs to win soon. But being second in points has got to feel good.

Majority of fans are tired of JJ and are glad that his visits to victory lane have decreaed expediently. But Jr is doing great this year, he is doing better then JJ is right now to be honest. He deserves to be NASCAR's poster child. All sports have one it is Jr. At lest he has won the Daytona 500 so it's not like how Danica was the most popular driver in the IRL (still love Danica).

But how about equal attention to all drivers? You know why some whine and #### about these races being boring? Because the t.v commentators just focus on the leader or Hendrick. They should take a lesson from F1 and show where the action is at.
