Tony Raines

was fast enough to make the race, but his time was disallowed, allowing Yeley to make the race. Anyone know what happened?

Re: Tony Raines

I have no idea who Tony Raines is but to bad they couldn't appeal and let him race. If they lost they could take the race away from him. His best bet would to drive for Hendricks and have Knaus for CC. Now I know that is scarcastic but fair is fair.

I've met Tony a few times, he's a very nice guy. Back in the early 2000's he was running the Busch series for BACE Motorsports. I worked for StaffAmerica and the owner's (Bill Baumgardner) son, Brian was running BACE. At that time Tony was driving the 74 car before moving to the 33 car. BACE tried to make it in Cup, but ended up closing their doors. Tony has run for a number of people since, both in Cup and NW. Some of them are Haas CNC, Phoenix Racing, KHI and Front Row Motorsports.

That being said, I'm sad that he was DQ'd but I love JJ (not Jimmie, Yeley :D ). He's our home town boy

Re: Tony Raines

Figures that they put Raines in that 37 car to get it in the race and then they were too low :? .
Cup: 14, 1, 29, 88, 99, 11, 17, 39, 15, 5, 2, 16
NW: 7, 31, 3, 11, 60, 88, 12
Trucks: 9, 88, 3, 7, 17, 31
