There's still time to get your mega lottery ticket(s) today. I don't play the lottery unless it's big & then I don't spend a lot on it. I've spent $2 & will get one more chance. I just won't trust Krogers for the ticket.

S14W, I am with you...I don't hardly ever play even when it is big, but I think I might make an exception in this case.

H, don't go rushin' to do anything after surgery...like posting. It is not like we would like to see you stay where you are at in points standings...or at least that is how Mrs B feels.

I was just reading online in our local paper that just across the border in New Hampshire that they are selling more than $27,000 worth of mega million tickets an hour.

I went against my better judgement and spent a $6 on some. Last time I played was 10 years ago and I won $50 and I only spent $5...10x the return for somebody who hardly ever plays is not bad. It will be interesting to see how I do this time.

I was just looking at the Mega Millions website and then cross referenced it with our state at the of screen. In the area of taxes, the feds get 25% and our state gets 5% and that would work out to $192 million dollars leaving $448 million take home.

Still more than enough to live with.

Just hours before the drawing, a Mega Millions spokesperson said there was a 95% chance someone would win the jackpot tonight based on all the combinations sold.

As stated by the official website for Mega Millions, if no one wins the jackpot, the money will be added to the jackpot for the next drawing. The pot could climb to an estimated $975 million.

At least one winning ticket was sold, according to lottery officials in Maryland, a retailer in Baltimore County.

Do have to say, that while I spent $6...I did win $4 of it back. I will spend it on on something useful this time.

Spent yesterday afternoon/evening with ice on my eye to keep the swelling down. Have to do that today, too. But, I'll peek at Cup quals this morning at 11:30.

They finally gave me a permanent job. at least that's what they told me last night.
Going to be doing the Timberville, Va. remodel for about 6 weeks.
