I was watching when he said that, thought of all you Newman fans . You guys will just have to be patient like Jf fans were (though Jr did alot worse). I've though about possible replacements: Mike Ford cc, Tg car chief.

I'm fairly new to racing, but wouldn't too many changes within any organization hurt them more than help? Who knows what has been said behind closed doors, maybe Gibson has been put on notice that changes are coming one way or the other. I know if I was an owner of a company I wouldn't make alot of changes to quickly, even if the public demanded it because it wouldn't make for smart business practices. Also, I'm sure that it's not only Tony who has to make the call afterall there is another name on the building besides Stewart. I would think that it would be a 50/50 decision at least, but also take Ryan's feeling and thoughts into consideration too. Just my opinion, but I may not make any sense.

Maybe now that Tony's team seams to be on the right track they'll work on Ryan's team. I know that it's frustrating, just have patience, I'm sure they're working on it. After all Rome wasn't built in a day.

Newman has been there and done that while at Penske under "ego pig" Rusty Wallace! Newman's intelligence intimidated Wallace besides being the new kid on the block. It was NOT an easy time for Ryan playing "second fiddle" after having so much success in open wheel racing.

I don't even want to think Tony Stewart would compromise Newman in any way but you can NEVER underestimate a competitors ego.

Like we all know, this board is predominantly Stewart fans and there's nothing wrong with that but they honestly don't have any vested interest/emotion in our drivers success. Seriously......... It would remove any and all negativity from my brain if I would see SHR do what's right and do it now! Newman's in his 11TH year of stock car racing folks. He has seen the good the bad and the very ugly. He speaks softly but carries a very big stick of Nascar whoop butt that has yet to be realized by NO support and well documented racing bad luck!........YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE!

people always say " be patient" of course the tony fans will agree that tony needs this and that, and justify it, but when it comes to ryan's team, "be patient." sorry it dont cut it no more, starting year 4 with a horrible CC while tony has had 2 top CC's he doesnt care about ryan's team, its a joke, and the fact that larry mac and other are catching on should tell ya something...
