TONY TO DRIVE NATIONWIDE AT DAYTONA

From Ryan's website, regarding his schedule page ....

"Ryan will participate in all of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. He will also participate in a few NASCAR Whelen Modified Series races this year. Stay tuned for schedule updates to see where you can find him pulling double duty at the track."

Does anyone know of any solid plans for Ryan to race in a NW race this year? ?

You are right #4 was a KHI car, but he drove the #80 for Hendricks in 2009 and won it. I don't think it was # 180. Maybe just a typo mistake.

Glad to hear Tony will be driving in the Nationwide race. That means I can catch him in two races. Even better if he wins both race coming off last year.

Anyone hear what Tony said on the radio after the wreck. Heard it was a classic Smoke rant.

Wasn't Kyle on the inside and started to go up the track which then encouraged Joey to do the same thing. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. If I am, who was on the inside along the yellow line.

Hmm... well now I would have to look at it again. When I watched it, it looked like a block move by Joey. Didnt look like Joey "had" to go up there.

The announcers refer to Kurt Busch as Kyle twice before correcting themselves. However, they also mention that Joey tried to cut off Tony. What I am still trying to figure out is if one caused the other or did it on his own.

I looked at the end of the race again and I thought Kurt came up the track and forced Joey to go high, right into Tony and Elliot.. I think Kurt was trying to block Joey.I never saw Kyle get out of his car after the wreck or his window net go down and the fire crews where just standing there. His car went straight into the safer barrier and took a hard hit. Hope he is okay.

To be honest, I don't usually watch the Nationwide races and am not familiar with who is what number in this series.

Then throw in all the driver changes during the off season to compound the issue.

My previous statement will make things interesting in the Cup Series. I know of at least 9 driver changes in that series. Getting used to that could take some time.

Also I feel that Kurt blocked Joey and that forced Joey into Tony.

Hey smoke_14. I really don't know, but knowing Tony is never at a loss for words, I am sure it will be interesting! Maybe if Mrs. B won't look someone can post it! After all they would just be quoting Tony.
