Neil Bonnett Passed away 18 years ago Feb11th.

A news story regarding the death of Neil Bonnett was in the ESPN Nascar web. site. Neil was involved in a crash during the opening practice of the Daytona 500 18 years ago. Loyal NASCAR fans have never forgotten you Neil.

This story is a blog written by Marty Smith. If I knew how to transfer the story I would have. It's very interesting with some wit in it by Helton.

Can remember that day as if were yesterday and never forgot the look on the man of (steel) Dale Earnhardt as they were close friends from the start of Dales carreer,he was choked up.Neil used to have his own show too,Rusty tried to take over the show soon after,but he couldn't make it the way Neil did and it was soon cancelled.Neil was quite a character and i miss him myself as i'm sure many do. Thanks ndunn.
