helmet went 19.100.00 bucks, not bad..... she said this was the first time she auctioned off a helmet.

It's cool that all of the $ from the sale of the helmet will go to Dan Wheldon's family. Danica is a class act and I don't care what anybody says. Way to go Danica!

First off--this is a charity--NOT a contest. You really are a small pathetic person arent you looking to knock or complain about anything. Comparing her with JJ--really-- the fact she had the helmet made especially for the DW charity auction to raise money for his family is whats important. Her helmet wasnt the only thing Danica donated for the charity. The hood of her car was also painted special as a tribute to Wheldon and was sold for the charity, and she also donated her winnings for the race of $21,843 in which she wore the helmet, but you're so petty and ignorant you wouldnt know that. Grow up and get a life.

There were quite a number of drivers whose kindness, graciousness and caring generosity lead them to donate their helmets and other items to this most worthy cause. The amount those items brought at auction is totally irrelevant at this juncture.

Even Oz Negri donated his helmet. He was one of the winning drivers on the team that won the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona yesterday.
