I knew it was gonna end up a disappointing year as soon as I heard Tony's 1st move was to get Addington as his own CC. (unless somehow suddenly TG becomes someone other than himself)
I would love for SHR to prove me wrong (would love to have to eat crow in this case) but I figure this will continue until Speedweeks. I dont figure we will hear anything new for Ryan or his team until after cars hit a race track. Every other part of SHR, changes. Ryans #39 team, figuring zero.

no, not that I heard of. I would love to have seen Mike Ford come in here, but I figure if you were going to change the CC you would want to do that quickly so they had the most time to get whatever changes made. I dont really see any changes coming, or they would have been made. IMO.
(again I would love to be wrong)

no disrespect to you ann, but i find it difficult to think tony is finding it more difficult to find the proper people for ryans team, when it didnt take him long to snap up one of the top CC's for himself, while he had one of the top CC's in the garage. Isnt that why people work for tony at SHR so that they help him in this process?? there is about two weeks til daytona testing, that is the last real chance they have to make any serious changes,

what am i missing?? i dont get it, maybe ryan is to blame for not changing CC's, maybe he is content with the way things are going, maybe he doesnt mind making up spaces on the track and finishing 9th,
seriously i dont get it..............

MJ, I am sorry I don't follow Ryan as closely as Tony. I was just saying that SHR is aware that there is a problem. Right now, there isn't a lot to choose from. Mike Ford is an option, but is he better than Tony Gibson? I don't know. He made some really questionable calls for Denny. Also he is available, and so far I haven't heard any rumors as to someone hiring him. I do remember that Ryan was a whole lot better than Tony, pre chase. There is no one who qualifies better than Ryan and maybe with Matt Borlin's help and the new SHR people ( ie Zippy and Steve) it will help the 39 team. Hope so for all Ryan fans! Keep the faith. I think you maybe surprised.

BTW Ann it wasnt SHR saying there is a problem. It was the writer saying it.
It would have been huge news if Tony said there were glaring problems on the #39 team, but he hasnt. (you did get my hopes up for a second though)
