Days of nothing new being reported for Ryans team directly

Do you realize that your blog could become quite long?

Pardon me for saying this as iam new here and havent really been an avid Ryan fan keeping up etc, but why all the negativity that he isnt gettiing a new CC? Ive never heard anything, nascar rumors etc ever, as they often run rampid as we know if there are problems, but nothing to attest that Ryan is unhappy and wants a new CC?? If some of you are insiders and know this for a fact, then thats that, but Ryan seems to be able to do pretty well, coming from the back to finish well etc so I never new he was that unhappy and wanted CC changes?

Also facts are often that CC changes dont always fix the problems if there are any as sometimes it's the driver, excuse me for saying so, but some drivers have CC changes and it doesnt help. Also if Tony is good friends as its been said with Ryan, then why wouldnt he get him a new CC if Ryan really wanted/needed one?

You guys sure this isnt just unhappy ramblings due to the fact that Ryan didnt finish as well as you guys hoped, and that Tony changed CC even though he won the Chase, hired a new guy Zippy that will Crew Danica PT, and Ryan will be left out so to speak, with no changes far as we know, but does HE really need or want changes?

Also some of you suggesting when/IF Danica goes Ft in 2013, that Ryan will be dumped, certainly is an unfair comment. Whether or not a driver stays with a team is often contingent on money/sponsors etc, as lots of drivers/teams are sufferring from that. One thing for sure is Tony and SHR is trying to grow the team, not just stay with 2 drivers, so Ryan staying with SHR well after 2012 is far to early to even be a concern?

As some have mentioned maybe Zippy will look at Ryan etc and make the needed changes if any need to be done? Happy Holidays.

well as one who follows ryan and listens to him on the radio, and listens how his cc puts him behind the 8ball every time, i can hear the frustration and anger in his voice, however ryan is a good guy he doesnt like to offend people or rock the boat, and if the higher ups at SHR put the time into improving ryan's team as they did tony, ryan would be a top 5 car every week, instead, his crew loses him spots on pit road and ryan has to play chase up the rest of the race, and i stand by my danica comment whether im right or wrong.

hopefully, Gibson will be 1 step ahead next season.
hopefully, whoever analyzes notes pre-setup will be 1 step ahead too.

we know Ryan is a top 10 driver, in spite of who's on the pit box, but whoever is on the pitbox can help make him a top 5 driver....it is a team sport afterall...

& the things I have been claiming for needed changes, I have been saying long before Tony got his new CC & Zippy coming over. Ryans issues have been the same for 3 years now, with I think two changes to the over the wall gang is all that has happened. If even half as much effort was put into improving Ryans team as they have put into improving Tony's team, I could only imagine what he would be capable of. The circus we call Danica I would say will take away from SHR as a whole, but only I dont think Tony will allow his team to be affected by it so that leaves Ryans team being negatively affected by the circus.

So to racer1, I am a Ryan fan & feel I dont comment without thought. The only time I dont listen to every lap of Ryans races, is if I am at a race track myself, or on the road home from racing that weekend. If you listened to Ryans radio during races as long as I have, it would be crystal clear to you why a CC change is needed. So why it isnt so crystal clear in SHR has to make you wonder. I agree with you that all CC changes dont make teams better everytime, but I assure you of this. It cant make it worse! Ryan basically has to play CC & driver at the same time which isnt good. Dont even get me started on how many positons the 39 team loses every race on 4 tire stops.

So to get it straight, poor Ryan has been working with a bad crew for yrs, and apparently Tony either doesnt see it or doesnt care? Some mention that Ryan isnt a complainer, but if he doesnt complain how is anyone to know? Tony worries about himself and his team first and foremost Iam sure, but if Ryan was that miserable and made it known, or if it was that serious, I cant believe Tony wouldnt try to help him?

Here's a thought--IF Ryan is all you say and that unhappy with a bad team all these yrs as you suggest, then WHY hasnt he shopped for a different ride?? Ryan is a grown man and a Nascar driver like others and IF he isnt happy he needs to make it known or leave, as all that falls on him to do something about it, as other drivers have.

I would like to think I am pretty grounded as a race fan, but completely understand why you would assume what you are saying. To answer why Ryan hasnt gone demanding anything, your guess is as good as mine. All I know is he personally likes TG, & it isnt uncommon when a driver trys to keep a CC that isnt working out. Gordon, Jr, & other drivers have been told they were getting a new CC even after trying to defend them. So it isnt as strange as we might think. I do know this. If you paid attention to Ryans team during a race, you would realize where the problem lies. Nothing fantical about it. What you see nowadays from Ryan fans (primarily speaking of me) is the frustration of no changes after seeing every year the same problems. If you paid attention, you would see this undeniable. Why Ryan hasnt spoke out (or atleast that we know of) , or why Tony (the owner) doesnt worry about making changes, I dont have an answer too. If we could make sense of it, it wouldnt annoy us so much. We would simply still be at the I wish stages for changes.
However your assumptions about me, are farther off base than my complaints of the 39 team. I have based my opinion on all the facts I have listened too & watched over the past three years. You have based your opinion on what some typical fly by night fans act like, basing it on zero facts about me. (other than I am a Ryan fan)
As far as Danica, she has been a nascar circus long before the thought of her coming to SHR.

even tho this is a ryan thread, i guess we are not aloud to think or share our thoughts......i wish ryan drove for someone other than an egomaniac, i dont care if ryan wins every race or lose every, as long as he does his best, it dont matter to me, im not hung up on wins or tittles.. at least ryan isnt a baby like tony, blaming grubb calling him "dead weight", and believe me there is more to the story and it will come out, maybe grubb can tell us why tony is always grabbing guys butts up and down pit road.

Some of you are clearly hardcore Ryan fans and you support him even by dissing his team owner/boss and very good friend Ive heard. I've seen guys like Ryan even defend their team and owners which means one main thing, they are NOT that unhappy. Its possible Ryan knows he has no where else to go and is thankfull for the ride he has, esp with all the drivers losing their jobs now days with team shuffling due to lack of sponsors etc..

In my opinion you guys are fanatics and nothing wil please you. Pit crews make mistakes all the times to the best drivers as no team is perfect. Like i said if Ryan was that unhappy Tony would surely do something Iam sure,as it refects on the team. Having team/driver sponsors depends on a drivers results so why would Tony not help Ryan if it would make him better and SHR look better and keep sponsors happier or attract new ones as SHR has gotten?

Enjoy your whinning and complaining as ive seen it many times before but I'd like to hear from Ryan IF there is a problem, because i dont think there really is much of one. You want to see real whinning go to Dale Jr site and see all those fanatics complaining about Hendricks etc even though Jr got a new CC but still hasnt won. What you guys are doing regarding Ryan is nothing new and very common so enjoy your discontent. I'll bet Ryan is probably just happy he has a ride next year again, which some of you should also be thankfull about, dont you think?

well it seems your the only one WANTING to rock the boat, and if that is your thing go for it, all the other members let us express ourselves without fault, but for some reason you feel the need to dog us, if you dont like what is written in this thread DONT READ IT, plain and simple, btw my fav driver is the best driver of the last decade Jimmie Johnson, a 5 time in a row champion, let me know when free willy wins 2 in row he is a egomaniac that he couldnt even share the championship with his CC, and lets get this straight, he is nothing like ALAN KULWICKI, AK won a championship on his own, he did walk into a shop that was already built and had HMS cars,he has a fat ego that matches his gut, and it would have killed him if ryan had more success then him,
