My daughter says "Daddy I thought yesterday was cold...I take that back. Today is colder."

I said "today is nothing, it is only 6 below and sun is out and it is supposed to reach the mid twenties."

we are 50mi south of Nashville east of I65. outside a little town of Lewisburg. we have a 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch house on 10 acers. low taxes, hmm, 1,400 year. just the wife & I, we need to downsize on house & of course better weather!!!!! haha

I'm warning you, FL living is expensive:

Property taxes: $3,200/yr
Homeowners Ins: $2,100/yr
Auto Ins ( 2 cars): $1,500/yr
Electricity: $200/mo
Natural Gas: $100/mo

Gas for your car is much higher in FL compared to TN ( I always stop in GA & TN when driving to IN because the prices are so much better). Food & groceries are more expensive.

Just do your homework before making a decision... that's all I'm saying.

I hear ya on the homework HH, we done that. we know it's more expensive, but with 90 to 100 grand down on a 150 grand house that will fit right in our buget. In the Villages everybody gets around on golf carts! heck u can even go to Wal-Mart in ur golf cart!! haha.. 4gal gas tank will take u 300mi or better!
sure u can drive ur car anywhere too, but why waste gas...haha we have already stayed down there for 6 days just to look at houses... we fell in love with the Villages.... It's a Fun & Cool place to live! > http://www.thevillages.com

gas is 3.55 here!!!!

3.55 OUCH

What gets us is that we have 3 tank farms in our state that holds all our gasoline / diesel / kerosene / and heating oil. That is when you know how much of it is going to taxes.

Gasoline here in central Michigan yesterday was $3.39 and this morning it is $3.25 and the day before it was $3.14. I don't drink coffee but I'll take bottled water. Thanks.
I saw the spam yesterday and glad to see it gone. Has to be a bunch of nut cases to post things like they did. If people want porno they can go look for it themselves. I just hope no one clicked on a link especially children.
