Will the July Daytona race have any more rule changes?

Well going into the Shootout last week, NASCAR tried to stop the two car drafting by altering the cars. One problem, they stayed in twos for the remainder of Speedweeks. That being said...

1.) What's your opinion on the packs of twos?

2.) Do you anticipate NASCAR doing anything else to stop this, and if so, will it be to a success?

dont think there is much they can do to get rid of the two car drafts. combination of new surface and new car designs make it the optimal way to obtain speed no matter what. only thing i can think of is they might do that "no touching/drafting cars in the corners" again. that rule went horribly wrong the first time around tho.

They could change the design (height) of the front or the rear of the COT so the bumpers don't line up.

I actually think changes to try & stop the teams from doing with just cause wrecks. I think them opening up the air ways helped make the racing better. When they had to switch all the time it spread out the whole field. Atleast they were racing close together today, thansk to the rule change. I dont think they will make changes to the bodies of the cars to keep them from doing it. If they do anything it will be just for slowing them down.
In short, I dont think they will make any changes for daytona. Of course with Nascar you never know.

I completely agree from that standpoint, and to be quite honest I would love if they just took the plates right off and go back to how it used to be. Let the faster cars overtake the slower cars like any other track. I don't care if you're going 185 or 250, hitting the wall is still going to hurt virtually the same.

imagine it, they can stop half way to re-charge the cars for half an hour. think about all the commericials nascar can show. this is definitely something brian france would think is a great idea.

You know, the paint scheme on that car looks familiar... but something is not right about the number on the door!?! Hmmmmmmm?
