What Happened To Tony?

What happened on the last restart? Did Tony run out of fuel? He and Mark just faded.

Poor Ryan, too. Caught up in someone else's mess.

Didn't get the best restart to begin with and suffered from screw your buddy as it appeared he had no dance partner. Looked good with Martin behind him as they ran well together on Thursday, but the Duel is not the 500. Oh well, on to Phoenix.

I'll agree with that. But still, it looked like something happened to Tony's car. Mark was still on his bumper as the 2 of them slowed right out of the camera's view. Very confusing to me.

He and Mark talked on the radio before the last restart and it sounded like they were partners and ready to try to win. It didn't seem Mark could keep up with Tony. When Tony was left all alone....to the back he went. He wasn't happy on the radio after the race (and I don't blame him). I really thought he had a GREAT chance.

No. Just lots of swearing after the race. If they said anything I missed it between watching TV and listening to the scanner on the PC. They had to keep spotting so much. Sorry..

I just wish I knew why Tony didn't make a deal with Trevor on that last restart.....Mark wasn't going to be able to push him as well as Trevor would. Trevor showed all weekend how strong he was and reliable

I wish I knew too tulips, but hey it is what it is.... I'm lookin for at leased 5 to 6 Wins out of Tony before the chase. IMO the Real racing starts next week at Las Vagas!

I do think It was just a matter of him and Mark couldn't hook up well. But the bright side was that Tony and Ryan ran well all day. They didn't even practice as much as some other drivers, so I hope that this was a preview of how strong they will be this season

That sounds like it wasn't a problem with the car or fuel, but a problem with Mark as his "dance partner."

Maybe we will hear more detail later this week. It's just frustrating since he was in the cat-bird seat at the last restart and as I was cheering him on, he and Mark just started fading back out of view.

I hope i don't make anyone angry but does tony have the dale problem at daytona is it really gonna take him 20 tries to win or is this just gonna be one race he never wins. I really hope not like many of you I was so thrilled when he won on saturday but so upset that yet again I have to here from people that he STILL hasn't won the 500. Oh well maybe next year. On to the next race.
