A Ryan Newman Topic Is Good

It's nice they have this separate topic of the best driver in Nascar history to have never won a Championship!

Until the twins are over. I have no idea where Ryan will start this great race. I doubt that will even matter as we all know.

I know, you have heard this a million times. Newman has not had the best of luck in these type of races. Can he break this trend? Who knows! Plus, you have to find a driver willing to be second to push your car to start/finish line. Not many of those kind of drivers around these days!

I for one am not crazy about plate races. Why? Because you are dependent upon another driver/car to help you win the race. Unless, your car is bad fast running by itself. What's the chance of that? And all those wrecks. Us Newman fans know all about those wrecks! I have seen way to many with the 12 and now the 39.

Well, I saw Ryan & Denny practicing pushing each other in the Shootout practice. So when they hooked up in the shootout I knew good things were coming. If & this is now a big if, the racing style is the same, I am hoping Denny & Ryan hook up again & go to the front. Even if they dont win it, what I am really hoping for is for Ryan & Denny to get to the front to avoid all the carnage that is sure to happen. So even if they get passed like in the shoot out, they will have a top ten. Something Ryan doesnt normally start the season with. I believe those two trust & are used to pushing each other. So if they can pair up I think good things will happen.

Yes it's about time we Newman fans had a little blog on this two team site Launch39!

Stewart fans have been entertained with many years of race wins and Championships. Us Newman fans are still awaiting our "day in the sun!" We had it back in 2003 with 8 wins 11 poles but no trophy.

With so many Teams using the same equipment how can you win? Your race team has to be flawless and lots of good luck! A little cheating wouldn't hurt either!

well his last 5 500's have been 1st, 3rd & 3 wrecks. So it is feast or famine for him.
I hope to be full by the end of the day!

Well tlmerk....same old crap! At least his demise happened on lap 4 and not early in the race. He may have had a chance at a better finish if it wasn't for wreck #2!
