To quote the great Raffiki in the epic film The Lion King.... "The Rocketman has returned".
Ryan looked like the Rocketman we all know and fell in love w/ all those years ago. To come off the truck be fastest in practice, and win the pole on qualifying day, then go out lead the most laps, and go on to win the race. He looked like the Newman of old.
I wonder if (I believe it was H.H. said in one of the posts from last week) Ryan and Tony had a bit of a discussion about Newman's frustration w/ the crew after last weeks race. They sure stepped it up this week, pitstops were good, strategy was great, and the car was amazing.
Very happy w/ the race this weekend (of course) I just hope they can put a few more runs like that together this season.
Congrats to Tony as well, and I can't believe I'm about to say this but congrats to the 48 as well. That guy must have passed more cars than everybody today. How many times did he go from the back to the front today? I'm not sure but I know it was alot. Hate to admit it, but thats why the guy is a five time champ.
CONGRATS AGAIN TO BOTH SHR BOYS!!!! WAY TO GO ROCKETMAN!!!!!
