This is sad

Jamie finished 19th yesterday. And I was actually happy! It is still a lousy finish but #### compared to the last 3 finishes of 37th, 28th, and 33rd 19th looks actually decent.

Here's what Jamie said after the race. “I am actually pleased to have a top-20 finish. I know that we as a team are not satisfied with 19th-place, but after the last couple of weeks it is a start in the right direction. Sometimes all you need is just a little momentum swing to get things in the right direction. Now we need to focus on making it happen. There is no lack of effort from anyone in this organization. We just need to have everything fall into place”.

Sonoma is a driver's teack and Jamie is really good on the road courses. Would love to see him finish in the top five again there. Could have won three straight from 2006 to 2008 there.

Re: This is sad

I watched Tony's channel Sunday and Jamie gave me cause for concern several times. He was trying real hard to pass Tony several times and did get it done. Tony got his position back but watching from out the back window of Tony's car, it worried me a lot. He had a good car some of the time.
As far as whining goes, you should have heard Jr and his fans on his site when Mark got into him.. Holy Crap, they were ready to kill Martin and whined like I haven't heard in a few weeks. Even Jr was nasty about it in his interview.
I'm happy for Jamie as long as he is behind Tony...jokin with ya bud !! LOL BTW, your post didn't sound like whining to me.
