Just got a text message......Kyle Busch nailed

I just got a text message that said Kyle was cited for reckless driving for doing 128 in a 45.....don't know all the details but text said it was breaking news.

I've been trying to tell yall that boy is fast!!!!!!!!!!!

TROUTMAN, NC - NASCAR driver Kyle Busch was cited for careless and reckless driving after deputies said they clocked him doing nearly three times the posted speed limit Tuesday afternoon.

Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Chris Stone, a member of the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) team, stopped a yellow sports car after he clocked it doing 128 mph in a 45 mph zone on Perth Road near Judas Road, between Troutman and Mooresville.

Busch, driver of the No. 18 Mars/Interstate Batteries Toyota Camry, was cited for careless and reckless driving and speeding, said Lt. Troy Miller, who supervises the ACE team for the sheriff’s office

Doc, I got that info the same time you posted it. I wonder if he'll just pay a fine or lose his license?? They'd bury us under the jail if it was one of us..lol

Time for the hammer to drop on him. I like him but something or somebody has got to get his attention. If his wife don't, NASCAR or someone else better. I think he should drive about 900 miles less than planned this weekend, but that's just me.

83 MPH over the limit on the streets. Yeah, I think that's bad enough to warrant action by NASCAR.

he probably thought he was driving in the CW series and said " boy im the fastest, the best." it was music to my ears when Mike Joy acknowledge that the truck and nationwide series was a developmental series for young drivers, so what kyle is doing is nothing spectacular........

Depends on the outcome. If I remember right, Kurt got stopped for a DUI in Phoenix and wasn't punished. At the end, he was made an Official Volunteer Deputy or something like that. We'll have to wait and see after all if Nascar can fine you for a tweet, I guess they own you 24/7.

There's always the generic, "Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing)."

You're talking like this is a 20 or 30 MPH violation. Okay, put it this way. He was 17 MPH shy of being 100 over the limit. He was within 10 MPH of his pole speed for the All-Star Race, of course taking the pit stop into account.
